Yesterday (January 11th, 2009), SFI announced its Facebook debut and our goal of 1000 fans by the end of the month.
Well, we're already half way there in just over one day! WOW, our affiliates rock!!

We are continuing to make solid progress on the E-Commerce Associate (ECA) Program and have begun final testing. Provided we do not run into any unforeseen obstacles, the full program should go live in January.
In the meantime, we have finalized compensation details. Here's how it will work:
Make referrals to the TripleClicks ECA program and earn lucrative royalties for life!
Simply refer companies that sell products to your ECA Gateway (see "Sneak Peek" here). For each that becomes an approved ECA, you'll earn up to 6% of the CV on all of their sales at TripleClicks.
• 2% of CV with 1500 pointss
• 3% of CV if you are a Bronze Team Leader
• 4% of CV if you are a Silver Team Leader
• 5% of CV if you are a Gold Team Leader
• 6% of CV if you are a Platinum Team Leader
Earnings Example: You accumulate 4,200 VersaPoints this month and qualify as a Silver Team Leader. The total CV for all of your referred ECAs is $50,000. You earn $2000 in ECA Royalties this month (4% of $50,000 CV).
The ECA referral program is very powerful because all you have to do is introduce an ECA to TripleClicks and you're all set to earn royalties for life! Every time anyone–anywhere in the world–buys something at TripleClicks from one of your referred ECAs, you earn a royalty!
Tip: Refer customers to your ECA's "store within a store" Website. With the combination of Customer Commissions and ECA Royalties, you can earn a whopping 78% of the CV on any sales generated! And buying from your own referred ECAs and will generate "rebates" on your purchases.
Here now are some questions and answers to further clarify some of the details of the new program and how you can get involved:
Q: How do I promote the ECA program?
A: Though there are virtually infinite ways to market the program, the bottom line is you just need to get your prospects to your ECA Gateway. Note that this Gateway will not be available until the ECA program is live. However, you can check out a SNEAK PEEK of the Gateway HERE.
Q: What happens once I get a prospect to the ECA Gateway?
A: The site provides all the details on the ECA program. If your prospect likes what he or she sees, he/she can click the included link to apply to become an ECA immediately. Applications are reviewed at SFI's corporate offices. Reviews will typically take no more than 1-2 business days. An email is then sent to the prospective ECA notifying them of acceptance or rejection. Provided they are accepted (most will be), they will receive access to a special ECA Admin area at TripleClicks where they can begin uploading products (individually or in bulk via data import). Their products are then added to the TripleClicks site and they're off and running.
Q: How will I know when I've successfully referred an ECA?
A: We will send you an email notification. We'll also be providing, a little later, online reports at the SFI Affiliate Center of your ECAs, their sale activity, etc.
Q: What are the qualifications for acceptance in the program?
A: In short, we're looking for reputable, established companies that sell quality, non-controversial products. Companies must also be responsive to SFI requests, they must process orders promptly, and they must stand behind their products with appropriate return policies.
Q: I'm an SFI affiliate. Can I also be an ECA?
A: If you are a commercial seller of products and meet the qualifications noted in the previous answer, yes, we'd LOVE to have you participate in the program!
Q: How do I sign up for the ECA program?
A: Once the program is live, exact directions will be provided, but basically, like any other ECA, you'll complete our online application form and, if accepted, upload your products for sale on the site.
Q: Who will be credited as the Referrer on current SFI affiliates who become ECAs?
A: SFI will strictly maintain current lines of sponsorship. That is, if you have 20 personally sponsored affiliates, and ten of them apply and become ECAs, you will be the Referrer of these ten ECAs.
Q: Should I promote the ECA program to businesses that are not online and/or that do not currently use the Internet?
A: At the very minimum, ECAs will need to be able to send and receive e-mails and be able to access the ECA administration webpages at TripleClicks.com to enter product information, etc. Frankly, any business that is not yet using the Internet is probably missing out on sales. You may wish to respectfully point this out and show them how easy our program makes it for them to get started doing business online. Indeed, all the heavy lifting is done for them. We're going to provide the eyeballs, take the orders for them, and handle all the payment processing. All they basically have to do is ship the orders that we forward to them to the customer. That's it.
Q: What if they already have a good Website?
A: Being an ECA will simply increase exposure for their products. They are under no obligation whatsoever to use or promote TripleClicks, but why not take advantage of the additional sales opportunities having their products in TripleClicks gives them?
Q: What about local businesses? Can I contact them about the ECA program?
A: Yes, we strongly recommend it. You might be shocked at how many would love to get their products exposed to a greater online audience. The ECA program provides them this (one of the fastest growing e-commerce sites in the world, with millions of visitors annually), the marketing muscle of SFI's tens of thousands of affiliates in over 190 countries worldwide, etc. And it's 100% FREE for them to get started and costs them nothing unless they are making sales!
Q: Can a business participate that does not wish to–or cannot–ship its products? That is, can I refer businesses that only wish to sell directly to local customers?
A: Yes. The ECA program offers a "Will-Call" option for local pickups of orders. When entering their products, the ECA can select this option while "opting out" of any product shipments. Customers will place their orders through TripleClicks. We will then forward the orders to the ECA and they will then prepare the orders for local pickup by the customer.
Q: There are many SFI affiliates in my city. So if I refer local businesses who offer "will-call" product pickups, all these affiliates can order their products at TripleClicks.com and then pick them up right here in my city without any shipping costs?
A: Yes! By doing this, you can completely eliminate shipping fees for yourself and all the SFI affiliates and TripleClicks members who live in your area. And think about this: SFI affiliates win because they can earn all the VersaPoints they need and eliminate shipping charges by buying locally. The ECAs win because they get new customers and sales that may continue month after month (think Standing Orders). And YOU win because you'll earn ECA Royalties on EVERY SALE...for life!
Q: I've noticed from the sneak peek of the ECA Gateway, that all ECA's are provided a free "store within a store" Website that features just that ECA's products that they can promote and use as their own company Website. Will I also earn ECA Royalties from sales here?
A: Yes. And keep in mind that millions of businesses still do not have an online presence yet. Or, if they do have a website to sell their products, they don't get much traffic. By participating in the TripleClicks ECA program, they'll have a basic e-commerce Website. And they'll be able to tap into TripleClicks' growing traffic (TripleClicks is already a top 20,000 site in traffic worldwide and is growing rapidly). So, yes, you'll earn commissions from ECA "store within a store" (SWS) sales and we expect many ECAs to actively promote their SWS. In other words, you may have many ECAs you've referred actively advertising their SWS Website–essentially advertising for YOU!
Q: Will you be providing additional training and/or marketing aids for promoting the ECA program?
A: Absolutely. We need to get the program launched first, but then we will be working on providing lots of training and marketing tools. While these additional resources are being developed, just focus on getting prospects to your ECA Gateway. And use your creativity!
Q: What can I do in the meantime, so I am ready when the program goes live?
A: Make a list of companies in your city, state, or country (and/or worldwide) you think would be good prospects for the ECA program. E-mail marketing will likely not be viable so try to get full postal addresses and/or phone numbers so you can mail literature and/or make phone calls if possible. Size-wise, small to mid-sized companies are probably your best bets. You'll have a much easier time getting through to the decision makers and they likely won't have layers and layers of management to stall action.
Q: You say that e-mail marketing will likely not be viable. Why?
A: For starters, SFI exercises a zero tolerance policy on spamming. You will need to be very careful if you are contacting business by e-mail unsolicited. Moreover, most businesses typically trash all unsolicited e-mails, so you'll simply be wasting your time. You will likely be much more effective using the phone, sending out literature (fliers, postcards, etc.), or even going door to door in business districts. Of course, the other alternative is to advertise the ECA program in places where business owners will see the ad, allowing the BUSINESS OWNER to initiate contact.
Q: Are we limited to signing up only businesses that sell products?
A: For now, yes. However, in the works are additional program components that will allow you to sign up all types of service providers, restaurants, and more! Imagine earning VersaPoints whenever you dine out and earning royalties whenever a local SFI affiliate or TripleClicks member dines at the restaurants you've referred! All this and more is coming in 2010. Yes, a HUGE opportunity is being born before your eyes. Now's the time to get focused on SFI!

Effective today, we are testing a new SFI Gateway prototype. The new "Get Real" Gateway is one of our most interesting Gateways ever. Features include:
1. A dynamic currency image. That is, the currency image reflects your computer's IP address. If you live in Canada, you should see Canadian currency. If you live in Great Britain, you should see British currency, and so on. Please note that not EVERY currency can be represented in this way due to how IP addresses are assigned and USA currency is used as the default where necessary. If your currency is not represented, it may alternately mean that we do not have an image of your region's currency at this time (assistance in getting any such missing images will be appreciated).
2. The newest enrollments table shows how many people are joining SFI, how quickly, and from everywhere across the globe.
3. The "Meet Our Newest EA" section helps make the page personal by adding photos of real people. It also further demonstrates how truly global the SFI opportunity is.
4. It changes literally every minute or so with new names and new faces.
The "real" theme is, of course, based on SFI's long, successful track record and our impressive global growth seen day in and day out. Very few, if any other companies in the world, can trumpet the numbers and track record of SFI, and this Gateways puts this out front.
Indeed, many people are very skeptical of online business ventures. Our "Get Real" Gateway attacks this skepticism with credible data, eye-opening numbers, and an open invitation to study our growth to the reader's satisfaction before proceeding.
By the way, you'll also note that if the viewer chooses to click the links to either TripleClicks or EyeEarn, your SFI ID travels with them so you can be credited for a subsequent customer sale if they go to TripleClicks...or an affiliate enrollment should they decide to sign up at EyeEarn.
Will this new Gateway pull better than the standard /free gateway? It's too early to tell of course, but we will be monitoring results and we will provide future updates.

SFI is pleased to announce that you can now issue gift certificates to your TripleClicks customers and prospective customers!
To issue a gift certificate to an existing customer:
1. Go to your TC Customer List (https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/TCCustomerReport.sfi).
2. Click the "Issue gift certificate" link beside the name of the customer you wish to award a gift certificate to.
3. In the popup that appears, enter the amount and the expiration date for the gift certificate you wish to issue to this customer and submit.
4. We immediately send an email to your customer alerting them to the gift certificate you've awarded them and with directions for how to redeem it.
Note that we've also added some special tracking so you can see, at a glance, who you've previously issued gift certificates to.
To issue a gift certificate to a prospective customer:
1. Go to the Gift Certificate Manager (https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/GiftCertificateManager.sfi).
2. Click the "HERE" link under the "TC Customer" column.
3. In the popup that appears, enter the name, email address, and country of the person you wish to issue a gift certificate to. Also enter the gift certificate's amount and the expiration date. Submit.
4. We immediately send an email to your prospective customer alerting them to the gift certificate you've awarded them and with directions for how to redeem it.
A POWERFUL NEW MARKETING STRATEGY FOR YOU!
The ability to issue gift certificates to customers and prospective customers can be a powerful marketing strategy. Giving an existing customer a gift certificate is a great way to get them to make their first purchase (or buy again if they haven't made a purchase in a while). Likewise, giving a prospective customer a gift certificate is a great way to introduce them to TripleClicks, get them on your customer list, and create an immediate sale.
And you can do it very inexpensively, too! This is because you set an expiration date on every gift certificate you issue. If the gift certificate is redeemed, you just picked up a new sale or a new customer! And, of course, in many cases, the customer is going to make a purchase larger, perhaps significantly larger, then the gift certificate amount, hence ensuring you a profit on the transaction or at least breaking even (while acquiring a buying customer!).
If the gift certificate is NOT redeemed, the money goes right back into your account upon expiration and you can issue it to someone else. In other words, it's a win/win for you!

SFI's new gift certificate program is now available.
To fund your account (which is now consolidated with your TripleClicks account), go to TripleClicks.com, log in, and do a search on "Gift Certificate."
You'll be presented with options for adding the following amounts to your account:
$10
$25
$50
$75
$200
$500
or
$1000
Funding your account can now be done with credit card, debit card, PayPal, PayByCash, check, money order, or cash (any of the normal TripleClicks payment options). You can also use money you've earned from selling products on TripleClicks and/or from SFI commissions you have on account!
Next, to issue a gift certificate, just go to your genealogy report at the SFI Affiliate Center, choose the Gift Certificate format, and then click the "Buy Certificate" link beside the affiliate you wish to give a Gift Certificate to.
In the pop-up that now appears, you'll be able to choose the amount of the gift certificate, as well as the expiration date. You'll also note that we've added:
A. The affiliate's photo (if provided)
B. VersaPoints this month (and the points needed to reach the next level)
C. Last login date
D. The date he/she joined SFI
E. Contact information
This new information we've added can help you decide how much to make your gift certificate for, among other things.
You'll also be pleased to know that you'll soon have access to a report that will display all outstanding gift certificates, who they've been issued to, amounts, etc.
IMPORTANT: One significant change you need to be keenly aware of is that there are now no longer any restrictions on what can be purchased with a gift certificate. If you issue someone a gift certificate for $10, for example, they could use it on an order for just $10. Please factor this in when issuing your gift certificates! We made this change because, with the new VersaPoints system, you can have affiliates who are short almost any number of points. This new, open system will, hence, allow you to assist ANY affiliate. Please let us know (using the Suggestion Box) if you prefer SOME limit or, possibly, a user controlled limit (i.e. YOU would decide the minimum order amount for each gift certificate you issue).
GIFT CERTIFICATES FOR CUSTOMERS!
Yes! Very soon, you'll also be able to issue gift certificates to you TripleClicks customers (both those on your Customer List and to PROSPECTIVE customers as an incentive for trying out TripleClicks)! Watch for the announcement.

WOW! That's a word we're saying a lot around the SFI corporate offices these days. Since our launch of the VersaPoints program, Co-Sponsorships, VP Rewards, etc., on August 5th, there has been an absolute whirlwind of growth and activity.
- We've seen new Executive Affiliates (EAs) skyrocket to over 25 times the prior daily average (a more than 2500% increase)!
- In just 21 days, more new, first-time EAs have been generated than the entire months of February, March, April, May, June, and July COMBINED!
- As I write this, we've added 271 new Bronze Team Leaders, 48 new Silver Team Leaders, 8 new Gold Team Leaders, and 10 new Platinum Team Leaders! Again, these numbers, are from just the last 21 days!...and represent more new, first-time Team Leaders than in all of 2008 and 2009 (through August 4th) combined! WOW! (There's that word again.)
- Traffic and sales at TripleClicks have also taken a major jump.
We've definitely had a HUGE breakthrough. And the numbers keep getting better because:
A. Large numbers of affiliates are now joining SFI and immediately getting active. People "get" the new VersaPoints system right away and it shows.
B. More and more leaders are becoming aware of the giant increase in activity in their groups and they're aggressively increasing their focus on SFI.
Because of all this, we may be only at the beginning of a long and prodigious growth cycle! Make sure you're not missing the boat. If you haven't yet fully got up to speed on what's happened, begin reading the articles below that have posted since August 4th.
IMPORTANT REMINDER!
I also wanted to make sure that, if you haven't achieved it already, that you're aware of what you'll receive with 2500 VersaPoints this month.
As first announced on August 5th, co-sponsors for all affiliates who joined SFI on or before July 31, 2009 will be assigned in September. Here's how we're going to assign them:
Every SFI affiliate who achieves 2500 or more VersaPoints in August is going to receive one equal share of the assignments of the tens of thousands of pre-August 1st affiliates and all the financial benefits that come with them.
As an affiliate's Co-Sponsor, you can immediately begin earning up to 24% CV commissions on all their purchases (plus an additional 4% to 8% on all their sales)! This benefit can also continue monthly (for exact commission details and qualifications, see the SFI Compensation Plan at: www.sfimg.com/compplan/ ).
How many can you expect to receive? That's very difficult to know because we have no idea how many of you are going to hit the 2500 points mark by the end of the month. However, we expect that each share will represent at least several dozen affiliates and possibly one hundred or more. It's definitely a potentially very valuable asset you'll want to pursue.
All assignments will be done completely at random or a combination of random and geographical matching. That is, we may assign a small percentage of Co-Sponsorships by COUNTRY. Example: If you live in Malaysia, a portion of your assignments may also be citizens of Malaysia. All others will be assigned at random.
Again, to receive your share of assignments, simply achieve at least 2500 VersaPoints by the end of August 2009. In early September, we will then make all the assignments and, shortly thereafter, they will appear in your genealogy (color coded in green).

If you want to get high rankings on Google, it is necessary that many other websites link to your website. This is something that most webmasters know. What many webmasters still don't know is that a website that has only a few inbound links can outrank a website that has many inbound links.
Why many backlinks alone are not enough
If a website has a high number of inbound links, it does not automatically rank highly for any keyword.
Google specifies the position of a website in its search results by on-page factors and off-page factors. On-page factors are all factors that can be found on your web pages:
- Did you optimize the web page for the targeted keyword?
- Can search engines find all pages of your website through the links on your website?
- Is the HTML code of your web pages error free so that search engine spiders can easily parse your pages?
- Does your robots.txt file allow search engine spiders to visit your web pages?
- Are your web pages free of all spam elements (no hidden text, no sneaky redirects, no keyword stuffing, cloaking, etc.?
Off-page factors are the factors that cannot be found on your web pages:
- How many websites link to your site?
- Are these links from related high quality pages?
- Do social bookmark websites link to your site?
- Do the links to your website include the keywords for which you want to be ranked highly?
All of these factors are important if you want to get high rankings on Google, Yahoo and Bing.

How to meet Google's requirements
If you want to get high rankings for a special keyword, you must optimize one of your web pages for that keyword. If one of your web pages has been optimized for a keyword, then Google will return it in the search results.
Unfortunately, there are many websites that target the same keywords as your website. If more than one website has been optimized for a keyword then Google will list the web pages with the best inbound links in the top 10 results.
For example, if 20 websites have been optimized for the keyword "green widgets" then the website that has the most inbound links that use the text "green widgets" as the link text will get the best position on Google.
If your website meets all on-page requirements and has the right kind of links (which does not mean that it must have the most links) then Google will list your website on the first result page.
There are many ranking elements that influence the position of your website in Google's search results. The more elements meet Google's requirements, the more likely it is that your website will be listed on Google's first result page.
To get an overview over all factors that are relevant to the position of your website in Google, analyze your website with IBP's top 10 optimizer.
